Expect periodic traffic delays during peak morning and afternoon traffic hours on Monday.  Construction will be Monday through Thursday from 7AM to 5PM.  Puget Sound Energy will be removing poles from the west side of 216th Avenue SE from Tuesday through Thursday.  Expect long delays during these times.  Please refer to the attached map for alternate routes on these days during peak traffic hours on these days.

Completion of paving along the east side (northbound) of 216th Avenue SE will start tomorrow, Friday, September 9th at 7am.  Expect long traffic delays for the length of the project during paving.  During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes if at all possible

Residents that live on SE 281st (Elk Run Division 7) and SE 283rd Street (Madison Drive),  just east of 216th Avenue SE going north will need to use an alternate route by detouring west on SE 280th Street to Kent-Kangley Road (SR 516).  Please see the attached map for suggested detour routes for northbound traffic.

Due to the rain this morning, paving on the east side of 216th Avenue SE has been cancelled for today and motorists on 216th Avenue should experience minimal delays due to Construction.  The forecast for tomorrow looks much better. 

Completion of paving along the east side (northbound) of 216th Avenue SE will start tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 9 at 7am. Expect long traffic delays for the length of the project during paving.  During this time, motorists are advised to use alternate routes if at all possible.

Paving operations have begun this morning and are expected to continue through Friday.  Expect long traffic delays for the length of the project during paving.  Construction for this week will be Tuesday  through Friday from 7AM to 7PM.  Milling and excess pavement removal has occurred and a rough road surface will remain until the pavement overlay is complete.  Motorists are advised to use alternate routes this week especially during peak traffic hours if at all possible. 

During this week, daily project updates will be posted.  The next update will be Thursday afternoon.

As of today, paving operations are planned for Wednesday through Friday.  If the street is too wet on Wednesday, paving will be delayed until Thursday and Friday.  Expect long traffic delays for the length of the project during paving.  Construction for this week will be Tuesday  through Friday from 7AM to 7PM.  Milling and excess pavement removal  has occurred and a rough road surface will remain until the pavement overlay is complete.  Motorists are advised to use alternate routes this week especially during peak traffic hours if at all possible
