This project is divided into 5 distinct segments. (Each segment has recommended improvements listed below). Of the 5 segments listed below, which 2 segments do you believe are the highest priorities/most important (mark 1 and 2):

  • SR 516 north to 222nd Place SE (BLUE)
    • 3 lane roadway section
    • Bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides
    • Intersection improvement / realignment at 222nd Place SE

  • 222nd Place SE to SE 256th Street (PINK)
    • 2 lane roadway section except for the intersection of Lake Wilderness Country Club Drive, which will widen to a 3 lane section
    • Bike lanes both way with 8 foot mixed use path

  • SE 256th Street to 219th Place SE (YELLOW)
    • Expand to 3 lane section
    • Pedestrian crossings at major intersections
    • Realign intersection of SE 256th Street
    • Improve intersection of SE 254th

  • SE 219th Place to SE 249th Place (GREEN)
    • 2 lane roadway section (similar to the 222nd Place SE to SE 256th Street section)
    • Expand to 3 lane section south of SE 250th Place and improve the SE 250th Place intersection with crosswalks
    • Continue 3 lane section from SE 250th Place to SE 249th Place

  • SE 240th Street to SR169 (ORANGE)
    • 3 lane section to SR169
    • Sidewalk on east side of road
    • Bike lanes on both sides of road, connecting from SE 240th Street to SR 169
    • Landscaping on west side of road and move guard rail further west
    • Pedestrian crossing at SE 237th Street

North of the the intersection of Witte Road and Lake Wilderness the center lane can be configured in one of two ways for:

      Option A – Left turn pocket into Lake Wilderness Golf Course; OR
      Option B – Merge lane for northbound movement from 254th
