PROJECT UPDATE #14
Date: 05/03/2013

Over the past months:

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 41,750 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 38 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 100% of the new storm water collection system. Contractor has installed the new curb and gutter, sidewalk, trees, and all the paving. Now all the striping is done and the improvements are in full use.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Installed approximately 30,870 lineal feet of conduit and 40 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed and constructed 100% of the new storm water collection system and the storm water pond. Curb and gutter has been completed. Contractor has installed the new curb and gutter, sidewalk, and all the paving. Now all the striping and landscaping is done and the improvements are in full use.

Date: 01/25/2013

Over the past months:

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 41,750 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 38 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 100% of the new storm water collection system. Contractor has installed the new curb and gutter, sidewalk, and all the paving. The work remaining on Site A is the striping, the railing and a few finishing touches and corrections.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Installed approximately 30,870 lineal feet of conduit and 40 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed and constructed 100% of the new storm water collection system and the storm water pond. Curb and gutter has been completed. The contractor plans to place asphalt paving and concrete as the weather allows with the hopes of having the majority of the work completed by early March.

Over the past months:

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 41,750 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 38 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 100% of the new storm water collection system. Contractor has installed the new curb and gutter, sidewalk, and the majority of the paving last week. The only paving remaining is at the Witte Road intersection which is planned for this upcoming week.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Installed approximately 30,870 lineal feet of conduit and 40 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 95% of the new storm water collection system; 75% of the storm water pond has been constructed. Curb and gutter was installed today.Contractor plans to complete the base paving this upcoming week.

Date: 12/14/2012

Over the past months:

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 41,750 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 38 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 100% of the new storm water collection system. Contractor has installed the new curb and gutter, sidewalk, and the majority of the paving last week. The only paving remaining is at the Witte Road intersection.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Installed approximately 30,870 lineal feet of conduit and 40 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 80% of the new storm water collection system. Contractor plans to complete the storm installation this week and also to prepare the road grade. Additional work has been completed by the developer’s contractor for the water line extension at the intersection of SR 169 and SE 260th Street in order to avoid the cutting of new pavement in the future.

Date: 11/30/2012

Over the past months:

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 41,750 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 38 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 100% of the new storm water collection system. Contractor has installed the new curb and gutter and is in the process of installing sidewalk, and grading for the road “bed” and paving this week.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Installed approximately 30,870 lineal feet of conduit and 40 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed their conversion to underground systems and have completely removed their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 70% of the new storm water collection system. Contractor plans to complete the storm installation in the next couple of weeks and then prepare road grade. In addition some work will be completed by the developer’s contractor for the water line extension at the intersection of SR 169 and SE 260th Street in order to avoid the cutting of new pavement.

Over the past months:

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 39,500 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 34 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed the installation of their underground systems and are making the final service cutovers and removing their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 90% of the new storm water collection system.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Cleared right of way and coordinated with other utilities and business owners and have moved signs, water lines (by Covington Water District), and small improvements. Installed approximately 30,000 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,700 lineal feat of trench and 35 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. Contractor plans to complete the underground conduits and vaults in the upcoming week and the utilities have begun “pulling” in their cables in order to convert to the underground system.

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 39,500 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 34 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. The utilities have completed the installation of their underground systems and are making the final service cutovers and removing their overhead system. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support. Contractor installed 90% of the new storm water collection system.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Cleared right of way and coordinated with other utilities and business owners and have moved signs, water lines (by Covington Water District), and small improvements. Installed approximately 18,000 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,100 lineal feat of trench and 18 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. Contractor plans to complete the underground conduits and vaults in the upcoming week and the utilities will begin “pulling” in their cables in order to convert to the underground system.

Over the past months:

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 39,500 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 34 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. This included work at night through some very "congested" underground facilities. Also working next to the existing trees endeavoring to save them. Contractor installed 360 feet of wall for roadway and walk support.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Cleared right of way and coordinated with other utilities and business owners and have moved signs, water lines (by Covington Water District), and small improvements. Installed approximately 15,000 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 1,400 lineal feat of trench and 16 vaults for undergrounding of utilities.

Site A (Witte Road to 228th – T7)

Installed approximately 39,500 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,500 lineal feat of trench and 34 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. This included work at night through some very "congested" underground facilities. Also working next to the existing trees endeavoring to save them.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Cleared right of way and coordinated with other utilities and business owners to move signs, water lines, and small improvements. Also, started the installation of the underground facilities.

Installed approximately 18,000 lineal feet of conduit in nearly 2,000 lineal feet of trench and 22 vaults for undergrounding of utilities. This included work at night through some very "congested" underground facilities. Also working next to the existing trees endeavoring to save them.

Site B (264th to 260th – T31a)

Cleared right of way and coordinated with other utilities and business owners to move signs, water lines, and small improvements.

  • Continued the drainage system installation including catch basins and over 350 feet of storm drain pipe
  • Installed conduits and vaults for undergrounding of utilities

  • Cleared area for infiltration pond and in the right-of-way for roadway
